Beta thalassemia is a condition that can lead to fetal termination. Thalassemia, short for thalassemia, is a common familial disorder that can be inherited by the fetus if one of the parents has thalassemia. Thalassemia is also known as hemolytic anemia because of the abnormal structure of the hemoglobin in thalassemia. If the anemia is only mild, it usually does not lead to embryonic abruption, but if the anemia is severe, it can lead to abruption due to massive destruction of red blood cells, severe anemia, and bilirubinemia. Different parts of the factor are deficient, and there is a difference between alpha and beta anemias, with the former being relatively mild and the latter being relatively severe. Pregnant women with geographic anemia need to be actively consulted before pregnancy to control the condition before pregnancy is recommended.
