Meniere’s syndrome refers to Meniere’s disease, which has no specific treatment or prevention. Symptom control is mainly through general treatment, drug treatment, tympanic injection treatment and surgical treatment.
1. General treatment: in the acute stage of the disease, lying down in a dark room, strictly avoiding external stimuli, limiting salt and water diet, and prohibiting the intake of tobacco, alcohol and strong tea.
2. Drug therapy: oral lorazepam and other sedative drugs, flunarizine and other anti-dizziness drugs, metoclopramide and other antiemetic drugs, hydrochlorothiazide and other dehydrating agents, betahistine and other vasodilators, methylprednisolone and other glucocorticosteroids, as well as appropriate supplementation of multivitamins.
3. Tympanic injection treatment: choose gentamicin, streptomycin and other ototoxic drugs to be injected into the tympanic cavity through the tympanic membrane route, which can reduce the secretion of endolymphatic fluid and reduce the edema of the membrane labyrinth.
4. Surgical treatment: when the effect of conservative treatment is not good and the symptoms seriously affect the work and life, endolymphatic sac decompression, hemianopic filling, labyrinthectomy and vestibular neurectomy can be taken selectively.
When Meniere’s disease occurs, it is necessary to actively consult a doctor for systematic diagnosis and examination, and follow the doctor’s instructions for standardized treatment.
