Theoretical body and efficacy of solidification therapy in treating diseases

The method of consolidation is mostly reflected in the treatment of acute internal diseases and is mainly used for the evidence of “deficiency dehydration”. The clinical treatment methods of TCM include benefitting qi and fixing deficiency, tonifying blood and fixing deficiency, saving yin and fixing deficiency, returning yang and fixing deficiency, supporting righteousness and fixing deficiency, fixing astringency and stopping diarrhea, fixing the capital and benefiting intestines, fixing gold and astringing lung, and benefiting kidney and fixing essence. In the development of Chinese medicine surgery, although there are a wide variety of external treatment methods, the term solidification, however, has not been cited in the external treatment methods.

Clinical application of the method of fixing prolapse
According to the theory of “acid can astringent and astringent can fix the detoxification” in the “Compendium of Materia Medica”, Professor Shi Zhaowqi invented the “Chinese medicine hemorrhoid elimination injection” and the “four-step operation method” in 1977. In 1977, we invented “Chinese medicine hemorrhoid elimination injection” and “four-step operation method”, which were used for the treatment of hemorrhoid prolapse and prolapse, laying the foundation of the technique of fixing hemorrhoids.
On this basis, it was used in the 1980s for the treatment of nasal polyps, esophageal variceal bleeding and sclerotherapy of varicose veins in lower limbs, axillary odor, and research on blocking injection for advanced rectal cancer.
Since 1999, I have been summarizing my research on the literature, clinical and experimental mechanisms related to the solidification method.
Proposal of the theory of TCM fixation method
Through fifteen years of literature, clinical and basic research, I have summarized the theory of “acid can be astringent and astringent can be fixed” in Chinese medicine. In order to improve the content of the external treatment method in the textbook of Chinese medicine surgery degree, we proposed the method of fixing off, and established the system of external treatment method of Chinese medicine; we applied astringent and astringent drugs, and focused on the clinical research of pelvic floor prolapse disease, inflammatory bowel disease, diarrhea and tumor.
Clinical application of the external treatment method
Using astringent and astringent drugs (e.g. anti-hemorrhoid injection, etc.), innovative injection methods are used to treat pelvic floor prolapse diseases, such as rectal prolapse (external prolapse, internal prolapse), hemorrhoid prolapse, perineal descent, and rectal prolapse, etc., which have achieved remarkable efficacy in clinical practice.

The scope of application of Gudao therapy
The scope of application of Gudao Therapy is wide and involves multiple clinical disciplines. It includes hemorrhage, deficiency, tumor, constipation, fecal incontinence, urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, sexual dysfunction and other pelvic floor diseases, covering the fields of internal medicine, pediatrics, urology, gynecology, acupuncture and massage and colorectal surgery, and gradually forming a trend of multidisciplinary cooperation with a holistic concept.

  I. Treatment of complete rectal prolapse by injection fixation method
Prolapse (rectal prolapse) is a disease in which the anal canal, rectal mucosa, the whole rectum and part of the sigmoid colon are displaced downward and prolapse outside the anus, the treatment of which is still a difficult problem. Conservative treatment is not ideal, and surgery is the main treatment abroad.

Second, the injection of fixed prolapse method for the treatment of rectal intra-mucosal prolapse
Endorectal mucosal prolapse, also known as occult rectal prolapse, anterior rectal wall mucosal prolapse, endorectal sleeve, etc., refers to the loosening and prolapse of the rectal mucosa, forming endorectal sleeve during defecation, blocking the upper opening of the anal canal and causing difficulty in defecation, which belongs to functional outlet obstructive constipation.

IV. Treatment of rectal prolapse by injection
Anterior rectal protrusion is a hernia of the anterior rectal wall and the posterior vaginal wall. The clinical term prolapse of the rectum is a clinical syndrome caused by the patient’s incomplete defecation, difficulty, scarcity, or extreme tension when defecating with the help of hands. In cases where conservative treatment is not effective, surgery is often used.
  Rectal protrusion (RC)
  V. Post-hysterectomy pelvic floor hernia
After hysterectomy, the pelvic cavity is enlarged, the content increases, and the weak pelvic floor is herniated into the anterior peritoneal recess, forming a pelvic floor hernia.
  Pelvic floor hernia causes constipation.
The pressure of the hernia contents on the anterior rectal wall causes the anterior rectal wall to close the upper opening of the anal canal, which hinders the excretion of feces, and the more forceful the defecation, the greater the pressure of the hernia contents on the anterior rectal wall, and the more difficult the excretion of feces.
