After a foreign body goes into the eye, the friction of the foreign body will easily cause damage to the cornea and conjunctiva, and it is necessary to take out the foreign body in time and treat the eye with topical ophthalmic drops.
1. Turn the upper and lower eyelids to check the position of the foreign body, use a sterile cotton swab or a sterile needle to remove the foreign body, if no obvious foreign body is found or the foreign body is small or many, the foreign body can be removed by rinsing the conjunctival sac.
2. After the foreign body is removed, the eye should be treated with antibiotic eye drops such as Gatifloxacin eye drops and Ofloxacin eye ointment to prevent infection. If the corneal epithelium is damaged due to the friction of the foreign body in the eye, it is necessary to use human epidermal growth factor eye drops, recombinant bovine basic fibroblast growth factor ophthalmic gel and other ophthalmic drugs to promote the recovery of corneal nutrition.
