How to relieve vomiting from a nucleic acid test

When vomiting or dry heaving occurs in the nucleic acid test, it can be relieved by fasting before the nucleic acid sampling as well as drinking moderate amount of water and eating a light diet after the nucleic acid test.
Nasal swab sampling or pharyngeal swab sampling is often used in nucleic acid test sampling. When pharyngeal swab sampling is used, the sampling swab may stimulate the mucous membrane of the posterior pharyngeal wall, resulting in physiological dry heaving and vomiting, which may even occur in some people with special physique.
When the above situation occurs, it is recommended not to eat food 2 hours before nucleic acid sampling, especially the more greasy food should be careful not to eat as much as possible. Moderate amount of water can be consumed after the nucleic acid sampling to relieve the discomfort.
After the nucleic acid test, food can be consumed, but care should be taken not to consume greasy, spicy, raw or cold food, so as not to cause vomiting reaction.
