Is it true that the Quchi point reduces fever

Qu Chi acupoint can be used to assist in reducing fever.
Quchi point is located between the joints of the lateral-epicondyle of the humerus and the small head of the radius, at the end of the transverse stripe of the elbow fossa. It is a joint point of the Hand Yangming Large Intestine Meridian, and the joint point is one of the five points of infusion. It has the efficacy of clearing heat and dispelling wind, harmonizing the camp and blood, descending the rebellious and activating the collaterals, and can be used to assist in reducing fever, and is more commonly used in the treatment of the head and face, i.e., diseases of the five senses, diseases of the intestines and bowels, and skin diseases.
Clinical treatment of high fever, the most commonly used points are the large vertebrae point and the Hegu point, the large vertebrae point is located in the neck of the second vertebral depression. The Hegu point, commonly known as Tiger’s Mouth, is located on the back of the hand, between the first and second metacarpal bones.
If patients have severe or persistent fever symptoms, they should go to regular hospitals in time to clarify the cause of the disease and undergo diagnosis and treatment, and should not do acupuncture on their own.
