The two tendons at the back of the neck may be muscle strain, neck soft tissue injury, nerve root cervical spondylosis and other factors.
1. Muscle strain: If the neck is kept in a fixed position for a long time, it may lead to local muscle strain, soft tissue adhesion, muscle spasm or cervical myofasciitis (also commonly known as “falling pillow”), which may lead to stiffness, pain and other uncomfortable symptoms in the neck area. It is recommended to do moderate stretching exercises to properly exercise the neck muscles.
2. Neck soft tissue injury: If the neck is hit by blunt or sharp sexual violence, it may lead to neck soft tissue injury, contusion, impact injury, resulting in neck swelling, pain and so on. It is recommended to apply ice immediately after the trauma or topical medication to reduce swelling and pain.
3. Neurogenic cervical spondylosis: this is a degenerative disease, the initial symptoms of shoulder, neck and upper extremity radiating pain, gradually develop into numbness, and in severe cases can cause muscle atrophy.
In normal working life, the neck should not be kept in a position for a long time, more activities, the symptoms may be relieved, if the back of the neck two tendons often pain, or the upper limb muscle strength decline, should be timely medical treatment, so as not to delay the condition.
