Most patients with novel coronavirus pneumonia may present with fever. The fever may last for about a week, with some patients having a longer fever and some having a shorter fever. In mild cases, the patient’s condition and temperature may gradually recover, while in severe cases, respiratory failure and other manifestations may occur. Generally, the fever of patients reaches the peak and then gradually decreases. In the course of clinical observation, patients usually recover after fever. If the fever recurs, it may be due to the combination of other bacterial infections or other factors, and the recurrence of fever due to viruses is relatively rare. Source: Dr. Yurai
