What does it mean when a lymph node is not felt?

Lymph nodes not palpated is a common medical term for palpation of lymph nodes when writing a case, it means that in some superficial lymph node areas during palpation, no enlarged lymph nodes are felt, but this does not mean that there are no lymph nodes in this area such as armpit, neck, groin, normal people will have lymph nodes, normal lymph nodes are small, often less than 0.5 cm in diameter, and normal palpation is not able to feel the obvious swollen lymph nodes. According to the statement that the lymph nodes are not felt, it is considered that there are no enlarged lymph nodes in this area, except when there is a suspicion of a specific lesion in this area, further clarification of whether there are other abnormalities will be made in combination with ultrasound, CT, etc.
