When liver cancer develops into advanced stage, the condition is usually more serious, the tumor keeps expanding, and the cancer cells are prone to distant metastasis, which affects the functions of various organs in the whole body. Patients with advanced stage of liver cancer will show symptoms such as severe wasting, lack of physical strength, edema, abdominal distension, ascites and so on. Treatments for advanced liver cancer include interventional therapy, radiotherapy, chemotherapy targeted drug therapy, etc. Late-stage treatment for advanced patients is based on palliative treatment, which can effectively control the condition and prolong the survival time of patients. It is suggested that patients with advanced liver cancer should actively cooperate with doctor’s treatment, exercise appropriately and increase nutrition to prolong the survival period and improve the quality of life.
