Color ultrasound can detect ureteral stones. Ultrasound is a clinically simple, economical and non-invasive test. Usually ultrasonic examination can find stones of 2mm and above, and also can have an understanding of the situation of urinary tract obstruction and dilatation above the stones. Color ultrasound for different parts of the stone inspection effect is different, specifically can be divided into the following two aspects: 1, for kidney stones, ureteral stones, the upper part of the ureter, the ureter into the bladder wall section of the stones, its inspection diagnosis rate is higher, better specificity; 2, for the ureter in the lower part of the stones, the inspection is relatively less clear. Because the ureter is located in a deeper position in the body, and there are a lot of intestines in front of it, due to intestinal gas, intestinal contents cover, and color ultrasound for gas will have attenuation, so for the middle and lower part of the stone, not very clear. However, it can be combined with whether there is dilatation of the upper ureter, fluid accumulation, as well as perirenal fluid, etc., to comprehensively determine whether the patient has obstruction or stones. In the clinic, if there are symptoms such as pain in the lower back and abdomen, hematuria, etc., it is considered to be ureteral stones, and if no problem is found by ultrasound, further urological CT examination can be done.
