It is used for cough and phlegm, epigastric (abdominal) distension, vomiting and diarrhea, and eating less. Pericarpium Citriodora is pungent, bitter and hot, and its warmth can help heat, so it should be used with caution for those who have solid internal heat and a red tongue with little fluid. Adverse effects of Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae are not clear. It should be used in accordance with medical advice.
