What does auditory fatigue mean?

Auditory fatigue, by definition, mainly means that when people walk into an environment with strong noise, their ears feel particularly uncomfortable because of the irritation. After listening for a period of time and coming out, the patient may feel that hearing sounds become dull and that the particularly subtle and light sounds that could be heard are no longer heard. This is mainly because the patient’s hearing threshold has shifted upward, thus leading to their own hearing loss, but as long as they leave the strong noise environment and rest for a period of time, people’s hearing will return to the original situation, which is temporary and called auditory fatigue. In life patients, should avoid frequent contact with particularly strong noise environment, so as not to produce a bad impact on the ear, affecting the patient’s normal hearing. If you have to be exposed to a strong noise environment because of your job, you must do a good job of protection by wearing headphones to cover up.
