The R2 regimen for lymphoma refers to the rituximab plus lenalidomide regimen, because rituximab is called Rituximab in English and lenalidomide is called Lenthiland in English, so the rituximab plus lenalidomide regimen is called the R2 regimen. This regimen is mainly used for a subset of types of set cell lymphoma, or refractory, relapsed types of diffuse large B lymphoma. It can be used as a second-line regimen when the conventional melphalan plus CHOP regimen has progressed, which is now the popular depot chemotherapy regimen. It may be used in older adults who are not suitable for intense chemotherapy and who are in relatively weak health.
