What are the sequelae of iliac femoral fractures

The fracture of the iliac bone may have complications at a later stage, which are also known as sequelae, and the common ones are as follows: 1. Long-term pain may remain, mainly confined to the site of the fracture, but also radiating to the surrounding area, usually with soreness and stabbing pain, which may increase after cold or strenuous activity. 2. Some iliac fractures are not completely or totally repositioned and may leave a local deformity after recovery, or a swelling protruding from the skin due to the growth of bone. 4. This often occurs when there is an extensive fracture of the iliac wing, which has not been completely reset or has a part of the bone defect, the patient often cannot get stuck when tying the belt and easily falls out of the pants, more common in men.
