How to treat chest pain

Chest pain may be a normal physiological phenomenon, or it may be caused by myocardial infarction, pleurisy, etc., and should be treated with general therapy and medication according to the cause.
1. Normal physiological phenomenon: if the patient is a woman, and in the pre-menstrual period, because the endometrium will mature and fall off, resulting in increased levels of estrogen and progesterone in the body, there will be pain in the chest, which is a normal phenomenon, usually without treatment, the pain will slowly disappear.
2. Pathological phenomena
(1) Myocardial infarction: Myocardial infarction refers to myocardial ischemia and necrosis due to blockage of coronary artery and insufficient blood supply, patients will have squeezing pain or suffocating feeling in the chest, which can be treated by oxygen inhalation and drugs (such as metoprolol and bisoprolol, etc.).
(2) Pleurisy: Pleurisy refers to the inflammation that occurs in the pleural cavity, and the main symptoms of patients are chest pain and chest tightness, etc. It can be treated by antibiotic drugs such as metronidazole, tinidazole, etc., or painkillers such as aspirin and indomethacin.
It is recommended that when patients have chest pain, excluding normal physiological phenomena, they should go to the hospital for consultation to clarify the cause of the disease and then be treated under the guidance of the doctor.
