Inert lymphoma is a type of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. The reason why it is named inert is that the growth of this type of lymphoma is relatively slow and “lazy”, which can also be said that the tumor cells are relatively lazy, and generally some clinical symptoms in its early stage are not very obvious. In this type of patients, even without treatment, it will take a long time before it progresses. For patients with this type of inert lymphoma, there are some clinical opinions that if it is relatively early, the patient has no obvious symptoms, and the disease has not yet involved the blood and bone marrow, it can be observed or given chemotherapy. For patients with stage I and II inert lymphoma, there are cases of survival for more than ten years after chemotherapy or radiotherapy. Although this type of lymphoma is inert and progresses very slowly, it is not so sensitive to chemotherapy, so it belongs to the category of lymphoma that cannot be cured. If this type of lymphoma is found at an advanced stage, the treatment effect of this type of lymphoma is not very good.
