Hand numbness may be caused by certain physiological factors, may also be the manifestation of certain diseases, such as cervical spondylosis, diabetic peripheral neuropathy, etc., should be timely consultation to identify the cause of the disease.
1. Physiological factors: may be a long time to maintain a position (such as hands holding the steering wheel, grasp the cell phone, etc.), but also may be sleeping posture, sitting posture improper compression of the upper limb nerves, may cause transient numbness of the hands.
2. Pathologic factors:

(2) Diabetic peripheral neuropathy is caused by diabetes mellitus, which is a peripheral neuropathy mainly characterized by sensory and autonomic symptoms; it manifests as symmetrical numbness in the distal extremities, with ants sensation and other strange sensations.
It may also be caused by other factors, such as stroke, but this symptom alone is not enough to diagnose the disease. It is recommended that if physiological causes are ruled out, timely consultation should be made, so that the doctor can clarify the cause of the disease and give targeted treatment.
