Composition of Wu Ji Bai Feng Wan

Wu Ji Bai Feng Wan is composed of Wu Ji (Removed Hair and Claw Intestine), Deer Horn Gum, Turtle Shell (Prepared), Oyster (Calcined), Cuttlebone, Ginseng, Astragalus Membranaceus, Angelica Sinensis, Paeonia lactiflora, Fragrant Forsythia (Prepared in Vinegar), Asparagus, Licorice, Di Huang (Prepared), Radix Rehmanniae Praeparata, Rhizoma Ligustici Chuanxiong, Yin Chai Hu, Dangshen (Salviae Miltiorrhizae), Chinese Yen (Yam), Gorgonzola (Stir-Fried) and Deer Horn Cream.
Wu Ji Bai Feng Wan is a proprietary Chinese medicine which is effective in tonifying Qi and nourishing Blood, regulating menstruation and stopping leucorrhea (regulating menstruation and reducing abnormally increased leucorrhea). It is indicated for deficiency of qi and blood, emaciation, soreness and weakness of waist and knees, irregular menstruation, and leucorrhoea.
The adverse reactions and contraindications of Wu Ji Bai Feng Wan are not clear. Avoid cold, raw and cold food. This medicine should not be taken when one has a cold. It is not advisable to take quinquefolium, wulingzhi, soap pods and their preparations at the same time when taking this medicine; tea and radish are not advisable to avoid affecting the efficacy of the medicine.
