Treatment of H. pylori takes 7-14 days. Individualized treatment regimens are selected for patients based on patient compliance, local drug-resistant bacteria and adverse drug reactions. Antibiotics cannot be optimally effective in the presence of stomach acid, and some of them have the side effect of irritating the stomach. Pairing with PPI will reduce the concentration of stomach acid to protect the gastric mucosa and protect the antibiotics for their optimal efficacy. Bismuth not only has the effect of antacid to protect the gastric mucosa, but also has a strong killing effect on H. pylori. The antibiotics that can be chosen are clarithromycin, metronidazole, tinidazole, etc. The PPIs that can be chosen are omeprazole, rabeprazole, etc. The bismuth agents that can be applied are pectin bismuth, and attention should be paid to the side effects and contraindications among the drugs. Retest H. pylori again 1 month after stopping the medication.
