Can you donate blood if you are highly nearsighted?

Highly nearsighted people can donate blood. Donating blood requires screening of the donor for infectious diseases and blood type, and has little to do with myopia. However, you may experience dizziness and fatigue after donating blood, so it is recommended that you have someone accompany you. If the donor has recently developed an upper respiratory tract infection or other type of infection, it is recommended that the donor not donate blood. If the donor has a history of infectious diseases, such as Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, AIDS, etc., he/she should not donate blood, because Hepatitis B virus or Hepatitis C virus can be transmitted through blood, which can have a very serious impact on the health of the transfusion recipient.
