What are the causes of hair loss?

Hair loss can be divided into physiological and pathological, if the number of hair loss per day is not more than 100, considered as physiological hair loss, is the normal physiological metabolism; if the amount of hair loss per day is greater than 100, considered as pathological alopecia, the common diseases include seborrheic alopecia, baldness, other causes of alopecia, and so on.
1. Physiological: Normal people will have a certain amount of hair loss every day, and hair loss within 100 is normal, belonging to the normal physiological metabolic pattern.
2. Pathological: if the amount of hair loss is more than 100 strands or patchy hair loss, then it is pathological alopecia, as follows:
(1) Seborrheic alopecia: also known as androgenetic alopecia, the cause of which is unknown and may be related to heredity, androgens and other factors, most of which are manifested as hair loss on the top of the head, and men may also have a receding hairline.
(2) Patchy baldness: the cause of the disease is not known, may be related to immunity, heredity, emotional stress, etc., manifested as limited hair loss with clear boundaries.
(3) Others: such as severe malnutrition can cause massive hair loss; malignant tumor patients after chemotherapy, or puerperal women, etc. can appear resting hair loss; serious psychological diseases, such as depression, anxiety, etc. can cause massive hair loss.
