Heart fire can be introduced into the small intestine by decoction of Chinese herbs, and the commonly used medicines in clinical practice include Guiding Chi San.
It consists of Radix Rehmanniae Praeparata, Radix Mouton, Radix et Rhizoma Glycyrrhizae Praeparatae, Radix et Rhizoma Glycyrrhizae Praeparatae, and Rhizoma Glycyrrhizae Praeparatae, and is effective in clearing fire from the Heart, clearing fire from the Small Intestine, and promoting water circulation to nourish Yin.
