What cancers does CAR-T treat?

Cat-t therapy is used internationally for the treatment of lymphoma, leukemia, myeloma and other cancers, and there are two types of cat-t therapy approved in China, one is Axicabtagene Ciloleucel and the other is Relmacabtagene Autoleucel, which are both used for the treatment of relapsed or refractory large B-cell lymphoma. The car-t treatment belongs to cellular immunotherapy, which collects specific immune cells from the patient’s blood, then genetically modifies them to increase their ability to recognize and kill tumor cells, and then inputs them back into the patient’s body after massive expansion in vitro to recognize and kill tumor cells. Two cat-t products are currently approved in China, namely Axicabtagene Ciloleucel (Axicabtagene Ciloleucel), which will be approved in June 2021, and Relmacabtagene Autoleucel (Relmacabtagene Autoleucel), which will be approved in September 2021, and are used for the treatment of relapsed or refractory large B-cell lymphoma. Cat-t therapy is more specialized and costly and is recommended to be selected and used under the guidance of a specialist.
