Side effects of Panax ginseng

Side effects of Panax ginseng are, if ingested in excess, nausea, frequent vomiting, hemorrhagic tendencies such as blood in sputum, epistaxis (nosebleed), bleeding gums, and excessive menstruation, and Panax ginseng tablets can cause allergic drug rash. Panax notoginseng, has the efficacy of dispersing blood stasis and stopping bleeding (removing stasis and stopping bleeding), and subduing swelling and resolving pain (eliminating swelling and pain). It is mainly used in the treatment of hemoptysis, hematemesis, epistaxis, hematochezia, metrorrhagia (excessive menstrual flow or dribbling), traumatic bleeding, stabbing pain in the chest and abdomen, and swelling and pain in bruises.
