How to treat pesticide poisoning with atropine

Atropine is mainly used to treat organophosphorus pesticide poisoning, which can relieve a variety of symptoms of organophosphorus pesticide poisoning. The application should be used early and in appropriate amounts to avoid blind overdose causing atropine poisoning, and also to avoid insufficient dosage, to be repeated several times, to achieve atropinization as early as possible when using, and also to be used in combination with chlorophosphate or iodophosphate. For patients with organophosphorus pesticide poisoning, different doses and intervals should be chosen according to the severity of the poisoning, and close observation should be made to achieve and maintain atropinization, i.e., the patient should continue to maintain the use after achieving atropinization when the patient’s mouth is dry, pupils are dilated, face is flushed, lung rales are significantly reduced or disappeared on auscultation, and the mental state is improved.
