Causes of cervical ligament adhesions

Cervical ligament adhesion may be caused by certain physiological reasons, such as ligament injuries caused by overwork or strenuous activities, or it may be caused by certain diseases, such as cervical musculoskeletal fasciitis, cervical spondylosis, and so on. 1. Physiological reasons: overwork or strenuous activities of the shoulder and neck may cause the cervical ligaments to stretch too much and cause injury, if not massaged in time to soothe the muscles, which may lead to cervical ligament adhesion after a period of time. 2. Cervical myofasciitis: Because the myofascia is subjected to long-term, excessive power or static loads or cold attack, it may cause its tissue structure to degenerate and necrosis, resulting in chronic inflammation or strain lesions, which makes the neck muscles stiff and causes adhesion of cervical ligaments. 3. Cervical spondylosis: cervical spondylosis patients due to long-term cervical spine strain or disc herniation, so that the nerve root or vertebral artery and other pressure, shoulder and neck activities are limited. In the activity of the adjacent vertebrae between the stability decreases and the intervertebral activity increases and mild slippage, so that the small joint dysfunction, the yellow ligament due to stimulation of hypertrophy, and usually less shoulder and neck activities, long-term will lead to cervical spine ligament adhesion. In addition to the above reasons, cervical degenerative arthritis, encephalitis or meningitis may also lead to cervical ligament adhesion. If the patient has symptoms such as neck pain, he should consult a doctor in time and follow the doctor’s instructions after diagnosis. It should also pay attention to proper rest, avoid sleep deprivation, pay attention to head movement, pay attention to protect the neck warmth, and so on.
