Fracture of the lower leg tibia is considered several levels of disability identification

In clinical practice, tibial fracture is a relatively common fracture. If a tibial fracture occurs, there is a tibial fracture present after a clear diagnosis is made by a professional orthopedic surgeon at a regular hospital. In terms of disability assessment, it should be rated at least grade 10. If the tibial fracture is more severe, the displacement is larger and the deformity in appearance is obvious, it can be rated as grade nine. If the fracture is a proximal tibial fracture that, after normal treatment, ends up causing significant knee dysfunction. In this case, it can be rated as grade VIII. If it is a distal tibial fracture that, after proper treatment as well as normal rehabilitation, ends up causing significant limitation of functional movement of the ankle joint. In this case, it may also be rated as disability grade VIII. The final disability assessment shall be based on the standards promulgated by the state.
