Where do prune sores grow

Prune sores, or syphilis, occur mostly in the genital area in the early stages and can spread to the skin all over the body in the later stages. The name “prune sores” is used in Chinese medicine, but in Western medicine, it means syphilis. Syphilis can be divided into three phases, each with different symptoms. The first stage can be manifested as a red rash on the external genitalia, which can be seen on the penis, glans, foreskin and other parts of men, and on the labia, perineum and other parts of women; the second stage can be manifested as a red or reddish-brown red rash and erythema on the whole body’s skin and mucous membranes; the third stage can be seen on the head, face and shoulder and back of the copper-red nodules. Syphilis is a sexually transmitted disease caused by the syphilis spirochete, mostly related to unprotected sex, promiscuity and other factors. The main symptoms may manifest as a hard chancre and swollen lymph nodes. If there is a suspected skin lesion of prune sores, you should go to the hospital in time for a hospital-related examination in order to clarify the cause of the disease and actively cooperate with the doctor’s treatment.
