Beauty has a price.

Earlier this year, the author encountered inflammatory breast cancer in the right breast caused by 14 years of breast augmentation with Omnidene gel in both breasts. She had to undergo preoperative chemotherapy, and after the cancer subsided and was controlled, she underwent a modified radical surgery on the right breast, plus removal of the Omnidene gel from the left breast. Case report: most of the right axillary lymph nodes had metastasized. The patient was only in her early 40s. After surgery, radiation therapy was performed. The patient suffered a lot. The patient’s breast was not small, but she was too fond of beauty and now regrets it. According to reports, breast augmentation was popular in China as early as 2000, and it is conservatively estimated that more than one million young women have received injections of Omnidene gel. It’s been more than a decade now, and it’s time for complications to break out. This is because there is a longer process of oxidation reaction and foreign body irritation of the chemical substance Olmedin (polyacrylamide hydrogel). Lesson (1): Recently, more and more patients have come to me for Omadine removal, and most of them have obvious inflammation in both breasts, with pain and obvious hard lumps. And some of the gel lumps have run into the armpits and upper abdomen. It is already too late when they seek medical attention. So we must realize that Omnidene is a carcinogenic substance and must be taken out, the sooner it is taken out the better, and it is easy to take. Lesson (2): Never go to an irregular plastic surgery hospital to take, must go to a regular breast specialist hospital to take. Minimally invasive suction is definitely not clean, I have cut open to take out nearly a thousand cases. Sometimes it is also very hard, the degenerative capsule wall and the surrounding tissue adhesion is very strong. And you can see that the degenerative gel is completely infiltrated with the gland and subcutaneous fat and pectoralis major muscle, turning into a layer of sponge-like tissue. Some glandular tissues turn into calcified nodules or lumps that are as hard as stones. Patients should always seek an experienced surgeon for this procedure. Techniques such as surgical incision design, wound irrigation and drainage should also be included. Lesson (3): If you encounter a patient with a significant inflammatory reaction, the implant shell is very thick and adheres to the surrounding tissue, making separation very difficult, and you should never perform a one-stage breast implant. Recently, we met a patient in Ningbo who had breast implants implanted immediately after removal of the Omnidene, which resulted in infection and had to be removed again. We must make sure to wait at least six months after the tissue is repaired. It is not too late to implant breast implants again. Patients who have had short non-omegaly injections and who have had minimal reaction to omegaly on MRI can be considered for one-stage implantation of breast implants. Lesson (4): We have encountered many patients who secretly go for breast augmentation with Omnidene injections without their lover knowing. Or conceal the breast augmentation injections before marriage, and must inform their lover before removing the surgery. If you want people to know, unless they do not know. At this point must be able to obtain the understanding of the lover, after all, the starting point is good. After the operation in the company of the husband instead appear to be loving. Together with the psychological guidance of our medical staff, the patient felt that the stone in his heart had fallen to the ground. She was very relaxed after the surgery. Lesson (5): As we get older, beauty is manifested in many ways. The sublimation of beauty is also improved. Women who love beauty you must learn the lessons of others in time and never be learned by others to learn your lessons. I would like to call on women who have had breast augmentation with Omniderm to consult with a breast specialist in time before it is too late and get out of the shadows in time for early surgery. In fact, for me, taking out the Omniderm is as simple as that!
