Earlier this year, the author encountered inflammatory breast cancer in the right breast caused by 14 years of breast augmentation with Omnidene gel in both breasts. She had to undergo preoperative chemotherapy, and after the cancer subsided and was controlled, she underwent a modified radical surgery on the right breast, plus removal of the Omnidene gel from the left breast. Case report: most of the right axillary lymph nodes had metastasized. The patient was only in her early 40s. After surgery, radiation therapy was performed. The patient suffered a lot. According to reports, breast augmentation was popular in China as early as 2000, and it is conservatively estimated that more than one million young women have received injections of Omnidene gel. Patients who have had short non-omegaly injections and who have had minimal reaction to omegaly on MRI can be considered for one-stage implantation of breast implants. Lesson (4): We have encountered many patients who secretly go for breast augmentation with Omnidene injections without their lover knowing.
