Menstruation at the age of ten years and four months is generally normal. The physiological development cycle of female menstruation is about 10 years old, usually between the ages of 12 to 14 years old, the number of menstruation is higher, so if a girl of 10 years old and 4 months old has menstruation without other abnormalities, it is normal and does not belong to the problem of precocious puberty. The age at which a girl’s first menstruation occurs is related to her genetics and her own physical condition. The onset of menstruation is often accompanied by the development of secondary sexual characteristics, i.e., breast development, axillary hair and pubic hair. It is recommended that more attention be paid to the nutritional status of girls at this stage, and that psychological counseling be provided to them in order to establish a correct concept of growth and development.
