What an asthma attack looks like

Asthma patient’s attack usually manifests as shortness of breath, dyspnea, profuse sweating, increased heart rate, and triple concavity, and other symptoms such as drowsiness and aphasia in severe cases. 1. Shortness of breath: When asthma patients first have an attack, they will experience shortness of breath, anxiety and dyspnea. Patients with severe disease will also have profuse sweating, diffuse rales, and increased heart rate. 2. Triple concavity: When the patient has a severe attack, the clavicular fossa, the suprasternal fossa, and the intercostal space will appear obvious concavity during inhalation. 3. Other symptoms: some patients with severe asthma may have drowsiness, blurred consciousness, loss or weakening of rales, aphasia and other manifestations. Also accompanied by fever, sore throat, cyanosis, fatigue and other manifestations. Asthmatics should avoid contact with allergens, smoking or irritating sprays, and allergy-prone foods in their diet. Asthma patients are advised to carry spray medication with them and should go to the hospital for treatment if necessary.
