Congenital megacolon: conservative treatment with colonic irrigation. The anal tube is inserted into the dilated section of the colon, and warm saline is used to wash the intestine, paying attention to keep the amount of in and out equal or slightly more, and gently rubbing the abdomen to help the feces to be discharged. Colonic irrigation can not relieve abdominal distension, severe small bowel colitis, complications of intestinal perforation, peritonitis, and long-segment type of difficult to wash the colon should be performed colostomy.
