Can you eat spicy food with fractures?

Patients with fractures are advised not to eat spicy, irritating foods. As a result of eating similar foods, the following effects on the fracture may occur: 1. It may increase the inflammatory mediators in the body, which in turn may lead to an increase in the pain and swelling produced by the fracture. 2. These irritating foods may lead to fluctuations in blood pressure in the body. This blood pressure fluctuation may lead to osteonecrosis for fractures with poor blood circulation, like femoral head fractures.3. Long-term consumption of irritating foods may easily lead to delayed healing or even non-healing of the fracture. So patients with fractures are advised to be light and not to eat greasy, spicy, irritating food.
