Components of the lymphatic system

The lymphatic system consists of lymphatic tissues, lymphatic vessels and lymphatic fluid. Among them, lymphatic tissue contains a large number of lymphocytes. As the guardian of human health, lymphocytes maintain the clean and orderly internal environment of the organism. Externally, lymphocytes can defend against foreign invading bacteria and viruses; internally, they can clean up necrotic and aging cells.
