How to improve numbness in thalamic infarction

Treatment of numbness in thalamic infarction includes thrombolytic therapy, e.g. alteplase; secondary prevention, e.g. antiplatelet aggregation therapy, e.g. aspirin; oral nutritive neurologic drugs, e.g. methylcobalamin; and rehabilitation therapy, e.g. microwave therapy.
1. Thrombolytic therapy: In the super-acute stage, riteplase or alteplase is given to improve the symptoms.
2. Secondary prevention: representative drugs include aspirin, clopidogrel and other anti-platelet aggregation to prevent recurrence of cerebral infarction. Simvastatin, Rosuvastatin, etc. have the effect of stabilizing plaque and regulating lipids.
3. Nutritional nerve drugs: representative drugs include vitamin B1, vitamin B12, methylcobalamin or adenosylcobalamin. It can improve the numbness symptoms.
4. Rehabilitation therapy: use microwave therapy, intermediate-frequency electrotherapy, etc. to improve numbness symptoms.
Thalamic infarction needs to be actively treated under the guidance of doctors, with a view to minimizing the possibility of sequelae.
