Physical examination, laboratory tests, imaging aids, etc. are required for circumcision.
1. Physical examination: the focus of the examination is to observe the patient’s foreskin length, whether there is any narrowing of the external opening of the foreskin, whether the foreskin is adherent, whether the glans is red and swollen before the surgery, so as to formulate an appropriate surgical plan.
2. Laboratory tests: they mainly include blood routine, urine routine, coagulation function, indicators of infectious diseases, blood type and so on, so as to determine whether there is any infection in the organism and whether it is possible to perform surgical treatment.
3. Imaging auxiliary examination: mainly chest X-ray, electrocardiogram, to understand the basic condition of the patient, so as to assess the feasibility of surgery.
Circumcision is an outpatient surgery, which can usually be performed through local anesthesia and operated by professional doctors.
