Not all breast lumps need to be removed. Smaller lumps with clear borders are often found through ultrasound examination and are recommended for regular review. The treatment should be targeted according to the nature of the pathology. If the mass is benign and small, it can be observed without surgery; malignant masses, regardless of size, require surgical treatment. In the case of inflammation, targeted anti-inflammatory treatment or drainage of the breast can be performed to achieve better treatment. Further treatment of a lump in the breast is determined mainly by its nature.
