Do you need a skin preparation for minimally invasive gallbladder surgery?

Minimally invasive gallbladder surgery requires skin preparation. Pre-operative skin preparation is a necessary procedure for surgery, mainly to clean the corresponding hair and hair follicles in the surgical incision area, so that the skin can be effectively sterilized better, and to reduce the chances of causing infections during the surgical process. Minimally invasive gallbladder surgery is relatively less invasive, and the incision recovery is faster, but also need to prepare the skin. For minimally invasive gallbladder removal surgery, clean skin preparation can be used as the abdominal skin is generally less hairy and is usually performed the night before surgery. The area of skin preparation is usually from the level of the nipple to the inferior position of the navel and on both sides to the mid-axillary line; or at least a 20-centimeter area around the surgical incision should be included. The procedures and steps of the surgery, no matter how large or small, should be strictly and carefully performed and should not be simplified to maximize safety.
