What causes swollen lymph nodes?

There is a correlation between lymph node irritation due to abnormal physical conditions of enlarged lymph nodes. Specific causes mainly include inflammatory stimulation, lymph node tuberculosis, immune factors, tumors and so on.
1. Inflammatory stimulation: most of the cases are related to bacterial and viral infections, and the lymph nodes themselves belong to the immune organs, which will become enlarged with the stimulation of pathogens, and lymph node inflammation will occur, causing enlargement.
2. Lymph node tuberculosis: caused by tuberculosis mycobacterium infection of lymph nodes, can form caseous granuloma, causing lymph node enlargement, part of the accompanied by ulceration, slow healing, accompanied by low-grade fever, night sweats, emaciation and other symptoms of tuberculosis poisoning.
3. Immune factors: the body has immune system diseases, such as rheumatism, rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, etc., may stimulate the lymph nodes to cause swelling.
4. Tumor: mostly seen in lymphoma and malignant tumor metastasis, which can cause lymph node swelling.
After discovering obvious lymph node enlargement, it is necessary to seek medical observation in time, and standardize the treatment under the guidance of clinicians after clear diagnosis.
