Can you cross contaminate with nucleic acid?

There is a possible risk of cross-infection when doing a nucleic acid test.
During the nucleic acid test, the nasal or oropharyngeal secretions of the tested person need to be collected, which is highly irritating and may easily cause coughing, sneezing and nausea of the tested person.
If there is an infected person in the tested group, after coughing or sneezing, a large amount of respiratory droplets carrying the new coronavirus will be released, and if other test subjects in the surrounding area do not wear a good mask or touch the contaminated items with their hands, it may lead to cross-infection.
To avoid cross-infection during nucleic acid testing, one should keep a distance of more than 1 meter from each other and wear a good mask while waiting for nucleic acid testing. During the nucleic acid collection process, avoid touching the surrounding objects with your hands, leave quickly after the collection process and wear a good mask.
