Location of stone pain

If it is kidney stone, the pain site is usually lower back pain; if it is bladder stone, there can be pain in the lower abdomen during urination; if it is ureteral stone, the pain site is renal colic; if it is urethral stone, there can usually be pain in the urethra.
1. Kidney stone usually manifests as pain in the lower back, if it is a larger stone, the location is usually more fixed, and the patient often feels no pain or less pain; if the stone is smaller, when the degree of pelvic movement is greater, the pelvic ureteral junction is blocked, resulting in renal colic, which starts from the lower back abdomen and radiates to the bladder area.
2. Ureteral stones usually present as renal colic, with sudden pain in the lower back that begins to worsen. In men, the pain radiates to the penis, and in women, to the labia.
3. Urethral stones usually present with pain in the urethra, which can be accompanied by urinary urgency, frequency and hematuria.
4. The pain of bladder stones is mainly in the lower abdomen, which is the bladder area.
If the patient’s stone is relatively small, you can drink more water with the lithotripsy drugs to promote the discharge of the stone; if the stone is relatively large, you should take different ways to discharge the stone according to different locations under the guidance of the doctor. Do not hold urine in normal life, and eat as little as possible of food containing oxalic acid, which can reduce the formation of urinary stones.
