What are the causes of low total bilirubin?

Low total bilirubin is usually related to aplastic anemia and secondary anemia.
1. Aplastic anemia: it is caused by the failure of bone marrow hematopoiesis due to various reasons, if not able to normal hematopoiesis, it will cause anemia, which will lead to the reduction of blood cells, so the total bilirubin is lower than the normal level through the examination.
2. Secondary anemia: usually secondary to nephritis, such as the seriousness of the condition caused by hematuria, not timely treatment, easy to cause ischemic shock, through the examination will find that the total bilirubin is low.
If the total bilirubin is found to be low through examination, further diagnosis is needed to clarify the cause of the disease, including routine blood test, routine urine test, renal function test, renal ultrasound, etc. Once anemia and bleeding are found, timely treatment is needed to avoid ischemic shock.
