The cysts formed during ovulation induction are mostly physiological cysts with a small size, usually less than five centimeters. These physiological cysts usually subside within three months, but there is no standardized criteria for when they will subside, so the patient can be rechecked after three months. If the cyst persists and continues to increase in size, we should consider that it may not be a physiological cyst, and need to check the female tumor markers or do further CT, MRI and other related examinations to determine the nature of the cyst. If through clinical examination, it is still considered to be a benign cyst, and the growth is not fast, not particularly large. The patient can be treated with traditional Chinese medicine that activates blood circulation and removes blood stasis, such as Gui Zhi Fu Ling Pills or Shaohui Yu Yu Granules, and then be re-examined after three months. If the cyst is judged by clinical examination to have other lesions, such as the possibility of malignant lesions, this situation must be treated with surgery.
