Clinical manifestations of bone metastasis of prostate cancer mainly include bone pain and pathologic fracture.
Prostate cancer cells have obvious osteophilic characteristics, and prostate cancer bone metastasis is the most common type of metastasis. If the bone quality of the metastatic site is damaged, the patient may suffer from pathological fracture; if the spinal fracture compresses the vertebrae, the patient may be paralyzed; more patients suffer from bone pain after metastasis; some patients may have no obvious symptoms.
When bone metastasis of prostate cancer occurs, it mostly occurs in the bones of limbs, pelvis or axial bones, and pain symptoms appear when metastasis occurs to the bones of these areas, which mostly manifests as fixed pressure pain or limited pain. Some patients may also suffer from anemia and bone marrow suppression due to multiple bone metastases.
The symptoms of prostate cancer bone metastasis may have various manifestations according to specific circumstances, and it is recommended that patients go to the hospital in time to avoid delaying the treatment.
