How is the diagnosis of squamous lung cancer confirmed?

The diagnosis of squamous lung cancer is based on pathology, which is our gold standard, and we will choose some methods according to the tumor, including puncture biopsy, which is trans-lung, under CT guidance, and if it has lymph node metastasis, we can do a lymph node biopsy or puncture. Some people may have pleural fluid, so we may find some cancer cells according to their pleural fluid. I would like to emphasize that many patients, including family members, are afraid of puncture, thinking that it will cause extensive spread.
