Is 110 gammaglutaminase considered hepatitis?

An alanine aminotransferase of 110 U/L may be hepatitis and further testing is needed to confirm the diagnosis. Normal values for alanine aminotransferase generally range from 0 to 50 U/L. The range of normal values may vary slightly due to differences in instrumentation, testing reagents, etc. However, a value above 50 U/L is generally considered abnormal. Elevated alanine aminotransferase suggests acute hepatocellular damage, which can be caused by viral hepatitis and toxic hepatitis. 1. Viral hepatitis: clinical manifestations are weakness, nausea, poor appetite, anorexia, etc. It can be categorized into 5 subtypes: A, B, C, D, and E. The diagnosis can be confirmed by pathogenic serologic examination. 2. Toxic hepatitis: refers to hepatitis caused by chemical poisons, drugs or biological toxins, can be divided into acute and chronic, mostly accompanied by fatigue, loss of appetite, nausea, pain in the liver area and other discomforts, can be diagnosed through the detection of liver function assistance. Elevated GATL suggests acute hepatocellular damage, which can be caused by different diseases and need to be diagnosed and treated in regular hospitals.
