Two months after the foot sprain still has pain symptoms commonly for the following reasons: First, the foot sprain is not rested and braked, the ankle joint injury is not fully repaired, and the local ligament joint capsule forms chronic inflammation resulting in local pain symptoms. Treatment should choose ankle protection or high-top shoes to protect the ankle joint to avoid re-occurrence of injury, and at the same time with the daily hot water foot soak, the temperature control is 38-40 ℃, to promote the local inflammatory response to subside, to relieve local pain symptoms. Secondly, ligament strain after foot sprain causes instability of the ankle joint, secondary to ankle synovitis which causes ankle pain symptoms. Treatment methods include local hot compresses, avoiding up and down stairs and squatting movements, insisting on daily heel training to exercise the calf triceps and Achilles tendon, which can enhance the stability of the ankle joint, and taking oral ibuprofen extended-release capsules and other drugs for anti-inflammatory and analgesic purposes when symptoms are obvious.
