Is it serious that all three liver enzymes are high?

Whether high liver function of all three enzymes is serious or not should depend on the situation, if it is caused by physiological factors such as staying up all night, then it is not too serious. If it is caused by pathologic factors such as hepatitis, it may increase gradually and is more serious.
The three aminotransferases of liver function are generally referred to as alanine aminotransferase, glutamic oxalate aminotransferase and glutamyltransferase, which are mainly used to assess the liver function and to determine whether the liver cells are damaged or not. Transaminases are generally found in the cytoplasm or mitochondria of liver cells and may be elevated when liver cells are damaged or liver function is impaired.
Patients with slightly elevated levels of these three transaminases due to physiologic factors such as excessive exercise, late nights, and poor diet are not serious and can usually be relieved by resting, adjusting work, and returning to a normal diet. If the elevation of the three transaminases is caused by pathologic factors such as hepatitis, pharmacologic liver injury and biliary obstruction, which may increase gradually, it is more serious.
It is recommended that patients with all three enzymes of liver function on the high side should actively seek medical attention to standardize treatment after clarifying the cause of the disease.
