What’s wrong with the blood on the 7th day of menstruation?

Women still have blood on the 7th day of menstruation, but if the bleeding is already exceptionally low and about to clear, it is usually a physiological manifestation. In some women, the contraction of the uterus is not particularly fast and the lining of the uterus is thicker during the menstrual period, so the menstrual discharge takes longer. However, as long as the menstruation clears completely within 7 days, no special treatment is needed. If a woman still has heavy bleeding on the 7th day of her period and it does not clear up after 7 days, it is often called a prolonged menstrual period. This may be caused by endometrial polyps, adenomyosis or fibroids, or prolonged menstruation due to luteal atrophy. If a woman develops this manifestation only after a cesarean delivery, consider that it may be caused by a diverticulum of the uterine incision.
